fishing grass mats

I miss frog fishing and was wondering if there are any lakes here in Kentucky that have enough grass mats to make it worth a trip. I don't need huge expansive areas of mats, I find if I have 5ft off the shore that will normally hold enough fish to make me happy. to .Does Cumberland have any areas where weeds have a chance to grow. Maybe up the east end of the lake? I have time off mid October don't want to go to Guntersville s I've never bee there and they have 2 frog only tournaments on back to back weekends. 3rd and10th

south KY Lake down by Paris, TN. Some grass in the Kentucky portion. better the farther south you go.

Thanks for the replies, I'll probably head to Cumberland and scratch out what bass I can get and go in search of stripers in the jumps.
