Anybody know why he is leaving? Courier-Journal had a nice article on him this morning. But never mentioned why he was leaving the show.

His wife broke her neck in a bad car accident and he took six weeks off to take care of her. During that time he to experienced some unnamed health issues. He also says the nerve issues in his bad arm just become unbearable during the winter months and shooting cold outdoor segments are extremely tough. He said he wants to spend more time at home and less time on the road.

Also his Cooking and Music shows take a lot of his time and he wants to pursue them more.

All these factors made him choose to leave the show.

    Gonna be missed

Me and my two sons always watched him every Sunday morning. Not many good family friendly shows on anymore and he filled those shoes well.
