Took my 11 year old for a few hours this afternoon to laurel. He wanted to drown some shiners so that is what we mostly did. Didnt have a bump on artificials what little casting i did. Wind was terrible but we managed 4 and lost maybe 3 more. Had a mixed bag with a nice lm, a super fat spot, and a smallie pushing 5lbs. All on the shiners. Im planning on taking them if weather permits next weekend to dale or c-land. Any danger of either of them turning over at that time? Havent been to either in a while and i dont want to make the trip to find coffee water. Laurel was clear and 62 degrees.

went to Laurel this morning, fished around the Dam and a few main lake points, water temps 57 degrees, fished about 4 hours, struck out, did the same last Friday and boated one fish, this lake isn't very kind to me.
