Sauger fishing at meldah dam

Any fishing reports of catching sauger at meldah dam? If they are biting what are you catching them on? Are the gate masters allowing you to fish by the wall? White bass or strippers biting? I feel the need to fish..and catch

Made the drive out to meldahl thanksgiving weekend fished from bank. New fishing area is open. Easy access from bank all way to the old sandbar but u cant fish up against the new wall. There is a no fishing beyond this point sign about 50 yards from wall. I caught 3 just before daylight and then took me til noon to catch 2 more. Everyone i talked to said night bite is on pretty good but down in sandbar area. Good luck
