Was crappie fishing yesterday for a couple hours. Water is only a up a couple feet and has a pretty good stain to it. I was fishing the lower end of the lake. Cant tell you how it looks around the upper end.

Was there Tuesday. Water is pretty stained 52 degrees. We caught about a dozen crappie in the back oc creek on minnows. Only 3 were keepers

Search the main lake for deep brush or deep blowdowns with tops in 15-20fow. Lake is back down to about 5" above winter pool, as of today, and I've heard it's a bit stained to murky and around 50deg surface temp. My sources say jigs or minnows above the deep wood is what's doing it for them. I haven't had a chance to go recently, or I'd have a better report for you.

Went out today and water had a little color to it but wasnt a issue. Fished with jigs and minnows but it was a slow day with only 3 keepers and a handful of of short fish. Had to really work to get the fish we got. Cant beat this december weather though, am i right?

Water was still stained. We only managed 3 keeper crappie on minnows and pink and chartreuse jigs on main lake timber. Great day to be on the water though. No cell phones or video games just fishing and spending quality time on the water. Thanks for the direction Crappie pappy you are the man!
