Fishing Log?
Curious how many of you keep a fishing log/diary for each fishing Trip?
If so, what type info do you keep?

I'd like to try to. I've tried before on big trips like to guntersville and places like that but it's one of those things you have to make yourself do consistently. Kinda hard but when I've tried I've recorded date, fish caught, what bait, water temp, and weather. Will put the pattern if it's consistent. Definitely would be cool to have and useful in the future.

Ive been keeping one for 2 years. I record location, weather, temperature, pressure, type of fish im targeting. Lures that produced and lures that did not. I know im forgetting some things but lets just say i right down alot of details. Its been good to go back and look at notes from a previous trip and hopefully put myself in position to be successful on future trips

I used to keep one when I fished more often. I kept (in a spreadsheet so I could sort by field):
Air temp
Moon phase
Barometric pressure and rising or falling
Amount of sun
Wind
Water temp
Water clarity
Fish caught
Time of Day
Species
Lure
Presentation
Depth
Notes

Been using FishTales app. It logs gps and current weather conditions for each fish. You enter lure, water depth, catch depth, etc. it plots your daily catches on a google map. It's basically a searchable spreadsheet. Pretty good tool so far.
