    Marina dock collapse-18" snow.

Here's a photo from the Jamestown marina WebCam. The whole right front row collapsed. Stripernut told me Grider hill has some problems too.

The state dock at Green River Lake has a few roofs down on boats and one of the floating cabins is half under water. Still a lot of snow on the roofs

Saw those reports, plus the boat slip dock behind Holmes Bend Marina office also damaged (sunk ??). Wouldn't surprise me if more boat dock/marina roofs have collapsed. Boats damaged from the dock roofs collapsing on them, plus some reports that some boats were sunk from the roof/snow weight have also been reported. Big mess, for sure.

    ... pappy

OK ... just checked with my FB buds, and they're showing pics of collapsed roofs, sunk docks & boats, and damaged boats (from collapsed roofs) from :

    Grider Hill
    Burnside
    Beaver Creek
    Lee's Ford
    Holmes Bend
    Green River Marina

Stripernut had some problems at his house down in Jamestown.

The good news is his boat is OK and I don't think so much as a leaf touched any of his rods.

Very compelling video. Thanks for posting.
I can only echo your statement, "**** shame".
I personally appreciate the minimal use of narration. It made me feel like I was right there to witness this event.

P.S. Nice toast towards the end of Part 1

Jeff I hope nothing is to bad at your house bro if you need something yell at me.

Guys this is horrible almost every Marina on Cumberland is reporting some sort of damage and Grider is every bit as bad as Jamestown. These Marina roofs are not designed to carry that kind of snow load. The trusses are but the structure, spacing of trusses, purlins and base are not. There is literally Millions of dollars of damage on the lake and surrounding areas.

Ive seen lots of pictures, lots of boats going down, why arent they trying to get some of the less dangerous ones out,its millons in boat value, think of the environmental-economic effect of this

No credit here, just took the links from the Marine Assist Facebook page. I think the camera man was one of their skippers, but that's a guess. Don't know it's a good idea to film yourself drink while operating a boat on the water. Even if the craft was a "dingy" that don't mean it's skipper needs be equally "dingy".

I just hope the insurance companies take care of the boat owners. And I hope they take care of the Jamestown Marina as a business also. Seems to me this was a freak storm with snow loads above and beyond what could be reasonably expected and designed for.
