Camping at guntersville

Was wondering if anybody has done any tent camping at Guntersville. I'm thinking about going there this spring and was trying to get some ideas on areas to camp.

We stay in a camper but the camping area at Goose Pond Colony in Scottsboro is a good place to pitch a tent as well. Waterfront camping available along with docks with electrical outlets.

I appreciate the info. I'm familiar with Goose Pond Colony, but wasn't sure how tent friendly it was.

Me and my buddy's always go down the first part of May and we always stay in a tent at Goose Pond.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like Goose Pond Colony is where we'll be staying. Any ideas on what to expect the fishing will be like that time of year?

Depends on when you're going. We're always there the first week of April and it's usually really good. Typically, May is phenomenal.

We have stayed at Goose Pond camp grounds several times nice place, showers are located in the center and they have a private ramp you can use the last time we were there it cost $21 a day I think
