    Dale big females moving up

Had my best spring numbers an weight 3/26/. The small mouth are bulging with eggs.
Using live bait I stayed focused on spawning ares where the channel was handy.
    Several fish over 5 lbs
Water temp 60 near state park marina
    Few pics
The crappie pic was caught last while a good friend fished the BLF

    Water Levels

Has the lake come up any or is it still around winter pool? Talked to a buddy who went down a couple weeks back and he made it sound as if the water was still down.

Headed down next week to try and find some big browns with my dad & son. Hopefully the crank bite will be on fire.

I'll swing by and say hello. We are usually in the same area except I move in a circle and you just let them circle around to you. Lol!

I will be taking 3 people out over the week end so I'll be doing a lot of pulling up on the bank or anchoring hoping they are moving toward me

Sounds like the lake has nearly made a full bounce back after the fish kill a few years back. Great to hear the numbers & quality are on the rise. Such a great fishery. Hopefully one of those big browns will break my son's heart next week. He lost one 2 years ago well over 5 when it went airborne at the boat & tossed the hooks. He still blames me. Lol!
