    Goby

Heading to canada to fish part of Lake Erie. What bait imitates a goby the best? We usually use tubes, but was looking for other ideas. I always thought gobys stick close to the bottom and cover, much like a crawdad.

You mentioned my first choice, tubes. After tubes, curly tailed grubs in white (baitfish imitator) or darker colors like gray, black or green (goby or craw imitators), and small bass jigs when you need to hug the bottom.

    Goby

Poor Boys makes a goby imitator. I've used it on St. Clair with great results...I've fished it on a drop shot and texas rigged and the smallies love it either way.
