Put in at Wax crack of dawn this morning. Debris everywhere. Lake fairly clear of debris water stained yet not muddy. My buddy caught a few white bass in jumps I was skunked. Also some large mouth or Kentucky bass. Didn't bother to check.

I have a buddy who wants to come up and fish the white bass jumps on Nolin. He is wanting to put in a week for vacation. If you had to pick a week that is probably the peak what week would it be?

Its hard for me to find the whites out on nolin in the summer. We pick up a few trolling but not alot of em. I've got lucky a few times and caught them in the jumps but it's been random. This year I think we will try a different approach and night fish for them under lights
I have been in the summer but it was when someone called me and said hey they are in the jumps want to go. It was scorching hot and we caught 50+ a piece in the jumps. But couldn't tell you exactly what week it was. Probably june or july.
We used to really get into the jumps in June and July, both with the whities and kentuckies...fun stuff! Donkey rig some 3 inch shad flukes and double up! Good luck!
fished it 7 straight days ...i did not see the first jump fish were suspended ,,,, even then whites I would say give it anothjer week or so ..it hasnt been hot enough for em to jump yet
