    Bass catch

My scale bottomed at 35 it straightened the hook out on it. I hung a 35 pound Olympic plate and it came up 34.1. I know there are some big cat guys here. Fish was 41.5" any thoughts if weight is accurate? Caught and released on a bass jig. Fish was a battle pulled my boat all over the lake. Scale was a Berkly digital.

    Thanks for any input.
