Cumberland striper fishing report?

Anyone have a fishing report? Planning on going fishing in the morning and trying to decide between stripers on the lake or trout on the river.

Anyone catching stripers? Are they still scattered all over or what? Any help would be appreciated.

It's been a three weeks since I have been there.
Lance Sasser has a report on this site from the 9th which should help some.
Things may have changed since then.
Anybody have info from this week?

With no info on the lake I decided to go to the cumberland river today. Fishing was slow and I caught around 15 fish total. Several decent rainbows and browns but nothing huge. It was the slowest day I have ever had on the river but still beautiful.

I caught them casting jigs, spinners and crankbaits and also trolling shad rap 5

Based on what I did on the lake you made a good choice. Bait was easy. Fish were not.

My son and I fished Cumberland River today for Stripers. Same story for us in the river. The bait fish were easy to come by, but we only caught one striper and it was a small one.
