Hard to say. We just got back today and the river was fishing great. Caught some nice fish.
Water was clear and green. Its supposed to rain I think everyday this week though. My guess
is, it'll be muddy.

Hello Folks,
Can anybody help me out with the potential conditions from all this weather for the river? Was using a few vacation days to come down Wednesday-Saturday with the wife for some trout and maybe even some striper fishing. Will the river be fishable down to Burkesville? Any help or advise is appreciated. Thanks Brad

It takes a lot to make it muddy. I live 4 miles from the dam and only seen it muddy twice in 27 years. They are holding the lake around 719 and not generating all day so the water levels are up and down. Check the gen. schedule to see how much water is flowing. Some stripers were caught yesterday in the boils on spoons and Flukes.

I agree up high it doesn't get muddy. Fishingnetwork I think asked about down to Burkesville.
It does get muddy down there. Get below Crocus and Marrowbone after a monsoon and it'll
be a couple of days before it clears up.
Thanks for the help guys.....we decided to wait and come down next week instead. Hoping for less chance of storms then!!
