    That's something that's real easy to do yourself. You can pre-measure your boards and attach the carpet. Launch your boat and remove the old boards using them as a template if you like of where to drill mounting holes. Remember to use only stainless steel fasteners.

    Do a search here on this subject. Lots of previous answers. Here's an example.

    Agree. I priced having mine done at Stokely's in Nicholasville and not cheap. I just did it myself and was much easier and simpler than I had thougth it would be. Boards and hardware can be bought at Lowes and I measured out the amount of carpet needed and had a marine shop order it for me.
    Picked a ramp I knew woudnt have much traffic and only took me maybe an hour.

    It is quite easy to do. Biggest problem is finding a place to launch your boat. Cordless drill and saw help too.

    do it yourself...........quite easy.

    * Buy 2 by 4 from Lowes. Get the really , really cool plastic/wood versions.....they will never rot. Mine are 8 ft long. Measure yours for yourself.

    * Get outdoor carpet from Lowes instead of Marine carpet.........it will save you a TON of money.

    * Get a power electric staple gun or a nail gun, and tack the carpets to the new rails.

    * Take some tools and a drill to the lake with you the next time you go.

    * Drop the boat

    * Replace the rails............

    * Fish.......have fun.

    * Load Boat.

    Go Home.
