    Clear Musky Tackle Box

    http://store.justencase.com/18912.aspx

Anybody got one of these? If so do they got hot? Do you have to cover it up with a towel or something?

I really want one but I realized it's basically a small greenhouse.

I have a small clear plastic bait box that warped from getting too hot at some point in time. The lid still closes on it but you can look at it and see it's changed form over the years.

I checked out this thread as I thought it was going to be about Muskie Baits. I have some that my Dad bought many years ago when we went up to Canada a few times. The muskie plugs are bigger than some of the fish I catch down here. LOL.

And Ironically the state has stocked muskies in the three big pits out at Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife Area. I've never fished with these huge baits out there.

    Smile 5 gal bucket

Some of us used the buckets, cut one inch slits in several places on the bucket, and store your baits in the bucket. a bucket could easily store at least a dozen suicks and bobby baits. And the lid keeps them clean, and you can get them for almost nothing, but it didn't work out well with bull dawgs, the plastc melted. but that was in a place far far away, long long ago

Sounds like it doesn't matter what I use, the key is to keep it out of the sun and cool.
