I know a few people who go to Brookville walleye fishing, I don't know anybody who's ever caught a walleye at Monroe. Not that they're not there, just that most people in southern Indiana go to Brookville.

Does anyone have any information on fishing Lake Monroe? I am interested in trying to do some Walleye fishing and it appears that Lake Monroe and Brooksville lake are the choices, Monroe is the one that I can get to as Brooksville is much to far for me to make in one day. Thanks for any help. Bill

Fish the points and drops on the lower end of the lake. Outhouse point has also produced for me in the past. Keep in mind, there are several hybrid stripes so dont be surprised if you find them before you find the walleye. same rule applies to both species of fish... find the bait, find the fish.
Hope this helps some.
Thanks for the info.
