This is pretty funny. Also nice to see the fun interaction between the pros and the fans.
Who doesn't love a little friendly wager?
The Ryder Cup doesn't tee off until Friday, but during a practice round Thursday at Hazeltine in Minnesota, an American fan heckled European players for not being able to make a putt.
Sweden's Henrik Stenson responded by inviting the man out to try and make the putt himself, and Justin Rose upped the ante by putting $100 down on the green.
What happened next is straight out of Happy Gilmore:

Good fun there.
I tried golf back in the 50s[golf carts we not invented yet]the only thing I enjoyed at thjat time, was there was a bar 30 ft from from the ninth hole.A few times thats all we played.Week day crowds were maybe 20 folks all day long. Theres a long story I won't go into, on how that almost ended my one month marriage. My son in law is a golf nut, his dad bought a house on the course, my grandsons both lettered in golf, and went to the state finals. My son in law buys tickets to some of the major events, why I don't know. Some times this month, I'll be invited to where they are staying, either barren river lodge or dale hollow, for a visit, and a couple of dinners. I wont knock it, but I don't usually watch it either. IMHO watching golf and NASCAR is like watching paint dry.
