    Lake Cumberland tailwaters info

Well I got next week off of work and I am planning on heading down to Cumberland below the dam to do some fishin. I'll be fishing from the bank and hopefully targeting walleye sauger and stripers. Anyone fished out there lately from the bank and having any luck? Just curious if any of y'all had any suggestions or tips ya wouldn't mind sharing to hopefully better the chances of catching a few fish. Any help is appreciated! Thanks y'all and merry Christmas!!

when and if they are generating, fish the current brakes with stick baits. My colors have been "clown" and "fire tiger". Fishing is still slow, but a few are being caught. No large females yet, but eater size males. Be happy with one or two on a good night.

Hey I appreciate it. I was thinking of taking the stick baits as well as some curly tails and bouncing em off bottom. Shad raps for some trout as well as cut bait on bottom for any cats that may be stirring. Hoping to just catch a few fish!

If you are going just to enjoy yourself, You will have a good time. If you are there before dark, or before they start generating take some powerbait for the trout. P.S. take a camera or good binocs because an eagle has been camping out at the dam.
