I am curious to know what stage of the spawn bass will be in towards the end of march on kissimmee chain of lakes. Will most be done already? Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

Just got back man and had a good time on West Lake and Kissimmee. We found some good spawning areas and fished Pre spawn bass holding off shore and we wore them out. Watermelon seed flukes, finesse worms, rattle traps worked out there. Buzzwalkers with Watermelon Seed Horny Toads worked in the shallow water (1-3ft). My buddy makes that Buzzwalker and it's hands down the best bait to fish shallow water and runs through the weeds like nothing else. We caught topwater bass when the sun was beaming down on us or when the clouds formed. When the fish are shallow and in the mucky backwaters this bait worked great.
Spinnerbaits and Chatterbait worked as well but didn't get the numbers. Biggest bass was 9.2(rattletrap), 8.7(finesse worm), 6.12(Senko), multiple 5's and 4 plus on flukes, crankbaits and buzzwalker.
My guess is they will still have a spawn at that time but it would be a weak one.

Thanks for the info. Can't wait to get down there and chase the big girls. Hope to have a good report like yours when we get back.
