Have any of you guys experienced slight slippage in your sea star steering as you run down the lake? If so any advice on what to check? Thanks in advance.

Do you mean you have some play in the steering? Or is the cylinder actually sliding on the rod the opposite way while driving? Either way, get it fixed ASAP.
Just had the exact same thing happen two weeks ago while on Dale Hollow. Look for leakage of your steering fluid where it slides on the bar by the motor. Mine had a seal that cracked on on of the lines and had dripped out the fluid....had to get it replaced.

air in lines will cause that even without a leak.
it's hard to get all air out initially. bleed lines again.

Guys I appreciate the feedback. My boat mechanic is saying it will be 5-6 weeks out to get it looked at right now.

Do some searches and maybe ask some questions on bassboatcentral. Watch some videos on youtube. I had a similar issue a few years ago and I was able to fix it myself by bleeding air out of the line. Not too difficult if you have a friend to help. I don't think I would wait 5-6 weeks unless you are not comfortable messing with it. Good luck whatever you decide!
Look at the ends of the steering cylinder and feel underneath for leaking fluid. If they leak you'll have to replace seals. If not probably has air. While you're back there make sure everything is tight, no play in the steering.
