Grayson Lake fishing and viewing cliff areas

Thinking about taking my boat to fish for bass at Grayson Lake, but never been there. Anybody care to share with me their experience of fishing for bass on the lake? What areas are the best for viewing the cliff that I hear are on the lake?

Any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated.

here's my 2 cents, I worked with a guy that lives about 20 miles from that lake, and we were working and talking about fishing and after work a couple times we fished Grayson lake, we put his boat in at the state park off highway 7 strait across from the golf course, we caught several bass, nothing any size, all less than 3 pounds, we didn't see all the lake but we fished enough places, I think we got a look at most of it, it has a lot of rocks alone the shore to fish, I think it is a beautiful little lake, but as for cliffs, if they are any on that lake, we didn't go where they were, I saw several big rocks, and the highest from the water were about 15 feet high. we also fished cave run lake, and I liked it much better, it isn't far from Grayson lake, and working close to the lake, we drove passed it every day, and it gets fished pretty hard, we saw boats fishing it almost every day. good luck

There is a popular cliff jumping area at Grayson, but I don't jump so I can't tell you exactly how it is bc I don't remember. Lol. It's very high though. Been since high school. Fishing getting better at Grayson!

    Grayson lake and cliffs

Fishing Grayson is like being in a canyon. Bass can be caught in numbers, size is every now and then. I had a lot of fish on the Cabin creek tube salt and pepper smoke. I like Grayson a lot, it is easy to navigate and has everything you want to fish. Grass, rocks, ledges, drop offs, points. You'll find the cliffs and rocks almost as soon as you get on the water, if not it won't take long.

    Good fishing.
