Is Kentucky Afield gone?

The last show I have taped is January 7. They said they would be taking a break, but this is way too much vacation.

Had the turkey call in show last night. No changes in regs. and the same old questions they read every year. Miss the old ways of showing what's going on in our happy hunting grounds.

Ket /Pub been having the yearly fundraiser. It messes up theregular programing for a few weeks sometimes. I also miss what's going on in Kentucky like the old Kentucky Afield had.

I'm sure the cut in public broadcasting funds hasn't helped with production.

It seems like every 2 months they are having a fund raising. I wish they would show something they the people normally watch instead of Infomercerls and self help fake doctors.

I believe KY Afield is funded by sportsman licenses, AND sponsors.........

I'm not too sure general fund or federal funds pay for it.

It would truly be a sad day if that were true. Being from Southern Indiana, I always tried to tune in on the Louisville channel.

Kentucky puts on a good product with this show. I've always felt Ky had it all over Indiana in outdoor pursuits...one reason I got out of Indiana and down to Lake Barkley!!
