Cumberland report 3/31/17

Fish c-land the other day and did half way decent, found most of the fish holding close to the banks. Or right on structure. Water conditions were pretty good, a little stained in the back of creeks and coves from runoff. Temps were in the mid 50's for an average, we saw anywhere from 52 to 59. Obviously warmer temps in the stained water in back of creeks.
Most all fish were caught on shiners rigged on a drop shot and picked up a couple on the cranks.

I believe the fishing is about to get good here in the next couple weeks as it appeared that the fish were getting ready to start staging up for spawn...

Bass, 1 smallie about 14 inches and all other were LMB and kentuckies. Biggest was 3 1/2 lb lmb. All fish were footballs though. Very healthy and appeared to be full of eggs.
