I've a lot of success with it. The big girls are already up shallow and bite well after dark.

Does anyone have any experience night fishing during this time of year? I have done plenty in the heat of the summer, but I am contemplating doing some night fishing this week. I'll be going after bass and with the spawn upon us do you guys have tips?

Git out there and DO IT!!!
if you love bass fishing, don't fish at night for the next 2 months, you will be fishing for bass at night and the shad are starting to spawn, and as the shad move up to the shore, so do the bass and the striper, and a couple months of getting your fishing line stretched with striper at night, you will lose the love of chasing bass in the spring, and start sleeping during the day and chasing the top water striper bite at night,
If you plan on going in weather the is below 60' you better bring your big boy clothes. The dew off of the lake makes everything wet and its gets miserable really quick if you aren't prepared.
Thank you for the advice guys, I'll be doing it here soon and I'll post a report, we'll see how it goes.
it make sight fishing really tough.
I will be there May 3rd thu the 7th night fishing!! Can't wait!!
