    Still a fishing board?

    Hello y'all.

Knute(The Heathen) has rented a slip at Taylorsville for the season for his pontoon. We'll be hauling it there Wednesday and do a little crappie fishing while we're there.

It's been parked under my barn awning for 2 years and I'm happy to finally be able to utilize that space for my own needs. Yeah, I know I'm selfish.

It's been too long since I've done any fishing at all and I'm looking forward to the outing.

We'll have plenty of room on the toon so I cooked up a bottom round roast this afternoon to make some sammiches. Knute doesn't care if he eats or not while fishing but I get hungry. Click image for larger version.

Food looks good tyme.. Ive been catching the crappie up shallow. Anywhere from 1ft to 4ft. Others are reporting still catching them in 10 12ft of water. Good luck!
