Anyone know the results of the tournament? Thanks

The KDFWR wants to REMOVE bass from this lake? YIKES!!!
Crazy ain't it . But I can remember 10 or more years a go when we would have tournaments ,would have 30 plus boats and have only 2 keepers weighted in and have a 5lb big fish pot that would have to roll over to the classic because no one could put a 5lb fish in the boat all year.
My take is there too many bass and as I call them beaver bass which are 9 to 11". The food supply isnt sufficient for that many to grow as fast as most lakes. I am sure some of that has to do with managing the Blue Gill and Crappie populations too.
IF you were going to give me $5 a bass no matter the size, I'm headed to Beaver. If you were going to pay me $100 for 15" bass I would never go there.

Yep, and that why a slot limit would get the job done faster then taking out 1000 every few years. Shoot a 11" bass taste darn good. If you watch the video were there netting the fish out of the tank there was some nice 2lb and 3lb fish being taken out. That's not the small fish being removed.
I've searched for it but can't find it - you have a link to that video Wormin?Yep, and that why a slot limit would get the job done faster then taking out 1000 every few years. Those first 2 nets of fish are not 9" to 13" fish.
Maybe I didn't watch the video close enough, but I didn't see any 2-3 lb bass being dumped into the fish trucks. I'll trust the biologists to do their job.
