    Cumberland River

Anyone doing any good on the river lately with trout or striper? Headed down to do some things to the place this weekend and contemplating on pulling the fishing boat down or not. Weather doesn't look to good.

The river is very very high. I wouldn;t advise anyone to go out there for a week or two.

Striper were busting the shad just before dark on the far side from the campground. Some were even catching a few in the boils before dark.

I think he meant Kendall Park below the dam. The dam is the only thing that produces "boils" anywhere that I know (Other than a big fishing to a topwater bait)

    River level?

Last week end we down to the cabin in Whites Bottom down from Burkesville and it was
higher than we have ever seen it! Still a good ten feet below the house but Holy Smokes
the water was way up in the trees. And one end of the horseshoe pit was under water.

Well you did say Cumberland River not Lake Cumberland so I thought you were going to fish below the dam. Some were still catching on the night bite and some are catching pulling boards.
