We did end up going to Wilgreen Lake and caught 86 fish in about 4.5 hours. All sunfish except for two channel cats. Used 6# test and light rods with bobbers. The young I took had a blast. We used a clicker to keep count of our fish and a dollar bill to measure them. I would say that we only had 8 or 9 fish less than 6 inches (length of the dollar bill). I gave him the dollar when we were done and told him it was his lucky dollar. His dad spent most of the trip taking fish off the hook while I would bait up a rod and cast it. It started slow, but then it started raining and the fishing was on fire after that.
If you get a chance, take a kid fishing. You might just change someone's life and get them hooked on fishing.
