hows the water look is it in flood stage!!
One of the good things about Cedar Creek is that it doesn't "flood" .... spillway overflow box is always open, so the water simply runs through the "dam" (under 150) and right on into Herrington Lake.
Thanks for your update. We decided to spend an afternoon on Cedar. Fishing was slow, but we managed 3 nice fish 2-3#. One on a jig, one on a fluke and one on a senko. Heard of a keeper caught on a main lake point on a 7" swimbait. Good luck and get out there because you definitely can't catch 'em from the couch.

We fished the area close to the ramp at the submerged road. Found several fish on my depth finder but few were in the mood to bite. Caught one nice blue gill and one 16" bass that probably weighed in around 3 or 4 pounds among the tree stumps on a purple swim-senko. Water was cloudy and 80°. Other than that, not much action but a nice Sunday to be out on the lake.
