Are there trout at Otter Creek park year-round that you can fish for?
If so, how does the water stay cold enough to support them?
Not likely ... unless the lake is kinda deep and spring fed. That's why most stocking is done very late & very early in the year. They know that whatever isn't caught & kept by anglers (or larger predator fish) will die when the water temps get warm.
This is quoted straight from the park's website : "Trout will be stocked in Otter Creek three times in the spring and a fourth time in October."
