First bad experience ordering online stuff

I recently ordered a product from Walmart.com. They said that they shipped the item to me. But they had VMI Venture, Inc. Ship the item via DHL eCommerce. DHL eCommerce claims that they gave the item to the US Postal Service but USPS tracking doesn't show it arriving from DHL Ecommerce which is a carrier for USPS. So the package has been lost. I've called all parties trying to get this resolved to no avail. So I called my credit card company and disputed the charges. Then I went to Amazon.com and ordered the product from them. I've had good luck using Amazon.com and they have delivered the products I order on time and for a reasonable prices.

I will not be using Walmart.com anymore in the future if I can help it. I've wasted 9 days waiting for a item that will never arrive. So I'm going to tell Walmart.com to just refund my money and not to ship the product to me again. Right now they are going to try to resolve the situation within 48 hours or two business days. They told me that last night in a chat room and today on the phone with me. All I really want is the CO2 Cartridge holder for my Walther CPSport Pellet Pistol.

I've got some pesky squirrels that raid my bird feeder and I use the pellet gun to shoo them away. If you know what I mean. .

I made a mistake and left the pellet gun with a full CO2 cartridge in it in my truck on a hot summer day and the seals blew out. I can probably fix it but I wanted a spare CO2 Cartridge holder anyway. So when I'm done I will have two of them.

I've been checking the mail box for the last week looking for the package and I give up on Walmart.com.

For twice the price of the CO2 Cartridge holder I could buy a new gun.

I've had very good luck with 2 day shipping, BUT, sometimes the post office gets involved, and then it's tracking time. One delivery wasn't even shipped by the second day, cause the post office didn't reieve it. So I wond up needing to re-order, and guess what, yep mulyiple deliveries.

That does **** and I have not used their online store....but speaking of walmart! I recently have been to the local store twice to return a battery from my pickup. First time, like always you have to leave it so they can charge it with their equipment and document the results before deciding what to do...got it I understand and no problem from me. My problem is they didn't call back to tell me when to come get it so I called 5 hours later and couldn't get anyone to pick up in that department. So I go there and once they find the battery they tell me it's not under warranty which I feel is not true since I purchased it in 2015. The Walmart sticker says the date on top of the battery but it's not enough proof....ok since I don't have the receipt (but they scanned the barcode) I decide to take the battery home and find the receipt and come back.

Next trip is mid morning and I get there to explain I'm here to just buy the battery because I can't find my receipt. Just scan the barcode and let me pay for the new battery less the $5.62 Pro rated credit and the $12 core charge. Nope! Gotta check the battery and then place it on charge to see if it's bad. Hahahahaha same dude is helping me. So I say ok man I'll be back. He said no it will only take a few minutes so I wait. 15 min later he agrees I'll get the $17.62 credit and get the battery for checkout but wait!!!! We need a CSR with a key to allow him to provide that credit and exchange. He calls and calls but no one shows up. An off the clock csr shows up and says ohhhh that guy is on break in the subway but should have been off break 20 min ago so he calls again and now a woman shows up and gets the key turn we needed and leaves. Now we are moving...but wait!!! My cashier isn't sure how to do the return so we stumble around with keystrokes and barcode scans and then here comes subway boy sayin I'm here....whatcha need? He gets behind the register with the now on the clock CSR and my original cashier....no one knows how to work the register to get me checked out. So they call for a manager. About that time I hear an announcement that says the morning meeting is about to happen and to report to the meeting spot. So now NOONE is answering the phone or showing up and here I am 40 min into it. Looking at the cashier and at times holding up the line because he has the register locked into my return I decided to leave. I could not handle the incompetence and lack of caring anymore. I called and gave the store manger the story and she was understanding but didn't have an answer or solution. I told her I'll come in the front by the customer service desk this weekend and have her paged so she could escort me back and handle this and she agreed. We will seeing is she actually does this. Very frustrating when a simple transaction turns into a cluster F.
to be fair I am at fault for not having the receipt. I also think that since my battery was purchased in 2013 and then replaced in 2015 thyme may not honor the new battery from the 2015 date? I guess I'm stuck on the original purchased date even though I did get a new battery with what I figured would be a full warranty. I suppose a person could go back every two years to get a new battery before the warranty is out? But they check the battery's with their equipment to decide what to do....hell I don't know. I just want the battery and if I have more issues I will just buy a new battery and leave the old one there and lose out on the $12.62.

Save yourself the aggravation and go to Advance Auto Parts next time.

I avoid WalMart as much as possible. My wife goes there more often, and I will go there occasionally but not often.

    Final Results

Well, after all I went though (see the text at the bottom) Walmart had another company send the CO2 cartridge holder to me. So I undid the credit card dispute and paid Walmart.com for the purchase. I now have two of these CO2 cartridge Holders. Which is OK with me as I wanted a spare. So they made good on the deal. It just took longer than I expected and they said it would. I suspect that the third party (VENTURE VMI, INC or the DHL shipping company) was the one that screwed the first order up. As the USPS said that they never received the shipment from Venture VMI, IN. Anyway the dispute is over and I got my order finally. The second company shipped it in two days and so that helped.

I used Walmart.com for another order and that went though OK. But I still prefer to use Amazon.com. Although the reason I used Walmart.com in the first place was because they were less expensive than anyone else.
