I don't get out too often, but when I do, I try to share my results here. I went out last night and it was great to be on the water. I was hoping the water would be cooler, but we did find a shaded cove that was 83 degrees. We flipped jigs, threw senkos and flukes and finally starting throwing swimbaits. The bass were actively busting topwater, but we just couldn't get them to commit. We caught on small bass on a swimbait and had another one get off. I will say that I had a number of tugs on the swimbaits, but it was slow. Even tried a rage toad over some grass as we had seen some explosive topwater action from across the lake, but they weren't into it.

Oh well, it beat mowing the grass.
