    Lake cumberland bluffs?

Hello to all. I'm not familiar with every area on lake cumberland, I usually stick to the Burnside area. I'm wondering if anyone can direct me to area's on the lake where bluff walls are found? I'd like to find a creek or area on the main lake where there's a lot of them, not just one 20 yard stretch, if they exist.

You can find bluffs all through the lake system. Go here and plan the areas you want to fish.

Zoom in to LC, of course. Notice that many areas with the tight contour lines closer to shore are on the outside edges of bends and turns. Those are the areas you can plan ahead to look for bluffs and you can tell how long those areas are on the map.

If you put in at the Dam or Grider Hill how many MILES of rock bluffs could you find on the way upstream to Burnside?

If you don't want to fish that end of the lake and are more comfortable on the Burnside end like u mentioned, Fishing Creek has several long sections of bluff from the mouth up to just past needle point.

if you live near burnside, you are close to some of the best fishing on lake Cumberland, just run down rt 90 to fall creek ramp and strait across the lake from the ramp, are cliffs that has some of the best smallmouth fishing, that you will find anywhere on cumberland, and about half mile down the lake from fall creek ramp, you will find cliffs on the left side of the lake and strait across the lake from those cliffs, you will find a long strech of stumps, some of the best walleye fishing on cumberland. over the past 30 plus years i've fished Cumberland from one end to the other by lunching from different ramps, and I like the fallcreek area as good as any place on Cumberland.
