Yep Tyme, finishing up the maters and peppers, thinking about the fall crop. Greens and sugar snaps then the cleanup and lots a horse and chicken poo

Who else had a great year with tomatoes? I spent most of the spring/summer in the garden and very, very little out fishing.
We ended up with lots of BLT's and over 80 quarts of juice and 40 some pints of salsa, 30 plus pints of Silver Queen corn, and 50 quarts of Blue Lake green beans canned. Also lots of freezer bags of California Wonder green bell peppers.
I'm not sure how many pints of Bread 'N Butter pickles I canned but it's a lot also.
We are still harvesting a few strawberries from the patch we planted in the spring. I'm anticipating a bumper crop of them in 2018.
The garden is pretty much done now with only a few tomatoes trying to ripen. I guess we'll try to find the potatoes we planted in among all the weeds. Oh, a few cantaloupe are still out there too.
