Well my vacation starts tomorrow and I had planed a trip down, With this temps am sure it's gone to ---->. Anyone make it out this weekend? Think I will sleep in and go a little later than I would normally do.

Posted over in the Jumps thread. Check the details. That's all I had to report. The smallies were tearing up big shad!! I didn't have a scale but had one brown fish almost 21 inches that was 5 pounds plus.

How deep were the smallies coming from? Going down to bass fish this weekend. Thanks
Most were in 18-22 feet vicinity. Did catch one up shallow on the retrieve.
Thank you
Despite getting a late start and having a trailer tire blowout on the way home it was a good trip. Got on the water at 9am put in at Halcomb ramp, water temp was 65.4. Fished main lake for awhile but it was to clear for me, Ran up in Indian and to the very back of a creek,Temp were 63.1 there. Started fishing my way out till I found the fish. They were on wind blown ,sun-bake channel banks, they had there nose right against the bank. Threw a SR5 crank-bait had between 45 to 50 kybass with 14 over 12" up too 31/2lbs. One largemouth that was just shy of 4lbs and 3 small smallmouth and a 16"crappie. I will spend today trying to get a tire so I can get back down there on Thursday. Temp on take out was 65.3 so it did not drop much all day.
