Up grading to a Helix also will be getting a new Navonics card for it.

The Navionics stuff is really good.......I use on both my systems, and I simply love them.
Spot on with the upgrading. I keep mine upgraded, and do the subscription on each unit every year. but they are staggered, so I don't get hit with 200 bucks all at the beginning of the fishin season .

I don’t believe you can do the transferring cause if you could, I would’ve already transferred my DI info to my SI unit. But then again, maybe I’m not that smart. Yes, it does store waypoints and tracks. I’m relatively new to my units perhaps someone that’s had them for awhile can give more info. I do like my Hummingbird helix 5 gps DI & gps SI

Nope.............And just trying to copy the SD card from another person can render the original useless. They use the SD technology embedded in the SD card to secure the media.

Also, those waypoints are in GPX format, so those will be accessible to any GPX formatting software.....or I should say most.
I have used software to import the waypoints and change icons, and name of the waypoints as to better organize them. That might not be a big deal to you, but me being an ANAL IT guy.......well I needed it .
