Our agricultural voters sold us down the river, we complained about subsidized steel 30 years ago, where I grew up in the calumet area of IL and In, there were 15 steel mills and 6 refineries in that area, wages were good, the politicians and corporations got what they wanted, low wages, more imports, and more cheap labor to come here. The mills will never come back, the standard of living will never again be the same for the lower middle class. the top 2% never lost a nickel At my age I don't give a ratazz about free trade, it never was there. Wait I won't be around, but a cashless society is just around the corner, and WE want it. Bad thing is one little key stroke or button can spell economic disaster for millions, or should I say for 98% of the world population.
