I moved back to Kentucky after living and retiring in Ohio for 30 years. Sunday was my first day of fishing since moving back here late 2017, and let me tell ya..........to y'all, Nolin isn't a "big" lake. However, after fishing what I call "postage stamp" lakes in Ohio all those years, I felt like a blind dog in a meathouse trying to figure out where to go and what to do!
I'm looking forward to spending a bit of time on Dog Creek this spring, and am thinkin a guy could spend an entire season breaking down that creek alone! I'll also say that if it hadn't been for the map card, I'd STILL be out there trying to find my way back to the ramp.
Hope y'all had a good weekend!

I have been fishing Nolin since in was a kid..i own property there now...by RED ROCK AREA..but I fish all over the lake...Dog Creek is one of the best coves on nolin as far as I am concerned..easy to spot channel banks, all different kinds of cover..deep banks, shallow banks etc. you should be able to fiqure it out after a while..then expand outside of dog creek for other coves. good luck JC
