It’s finally spring
Time for a little song to sing
It’s time to plant my beans
Lay in the sunshine and dream
It’s time to pull down my pants and moon the sun
With bare feet through the deep green grass run
It’s time to put winter behind
Walk my old dog that is blind
It’s a time to crack a big green watermelon
Kick an anthill and start a rebellion
It’s time to share a buding cold “Bud”
Let the gentle showers turn into a flood
Hey!
It’s finally spring
Take a close look at your sugar maple
It may have a new growth-ring
