Red face From the mouths of Babes

My 6 year old grandson and 10 year old grandson were getting a rough education this spring. Their great grandfather, my Dad, died and was buried 19 days ago at the local cemetery. Today we buried their great grandmother, my Mom.

As the coffin was removed from the hearse and the bearers placed it on the carpet hiding the grave, the 6 year old's eyes got big as he recognized that he had been there recently. He yelled to his brother "They are putting her next to him!"

    Always a silver lining!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. As difficult as that was to even read, I am able to see the humor in their innocence. Prayers set for blessings and comfort through this difficult time!!!

I loss my daughter in law six years ago on March 15th. I loss my son one moth later, April 15th. Wasn’t and isn’t easy. My wife and I are raising his son, now 18 and 23. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think of them. All we can do is take one day at a time.
