It's been pretty good the last couple of weekends. Tournament on May 27th the winning team had 6 fish for over 22 lbs. Wounded heroes tournament June 2nd winner had over 13 lbs. Lots of keeper bites and several fish over 3 lbs with a few over 5 were weighed in. Seeing a ton of crawfish in live wells afterwards.

I don't tournament fish because I can't reliably catch LMB...but somehow I thought tournaments always require artificial baits and not live bait. Some do and some don't?

He means that they have been feeding on crawfish. Bass can spit up recently eaten prey under stress.
