    Input on Spot Lock

    Thank you everyone for the input on this. I probably will not be able to get it until next season; but being convinced it works; I am going to get one.

    They tend to go overboard if it's the Gen 2 and you do not have a compass linked to it. The puck makes a huge difference. And, yes, you can adjust the motor to compensate for having too much or too little motor on the boat. They have a chart where you can see if you need to change it or not based on the weight of your boat and the thrust of the motor.
