    Setting Buoys

Can anyone help how to set buoys? Yesterday I was trying to set a line of buoys marking an old roadbed, but my buoys kept getting pushed by the wind and slight current. I'm using the buoys in the shape of a H.

I have never used them, but I would just pick them up and put a rubber band on it. Best guess

Maybe more weight to get it to hit hte bottom quicker. Once on the bottom the wind might blow them a little but not too much. At least I usually don't have too much of a problem with it.

I don't use them nearly as much though now, since I got good maps and a spotlock ultrex .
