Wondering how good of rods are the Duckett rods. Picked one up the other day and man did it feel light to hold. Wondering about the sensitivity of the rod? This might be off the wall question but wondering how it would compare to a G-Loomis rod?

Thanks fellows
Having been in the rod repair business for a few years now, I can tell you that based on what I see in my shop, Duckett rods have improved from what they initially were. I still have a corner full of earlier generation Duckett rods (along with carrot stix). The early generation Duckett rods were bad about breaking and I’ve replaced a ton of guides that either came loose from the thread wrap or just broke off. I don’t see as much of that now as I used to and I know there are still plenty if people using them so that tells me they have improved some. That being said, any rod can break and guides can come loose or break, much of it depending on how the angler uses or sometimes mistreats their equipment. As compared to Loomis or any other brand, it depends on what respective models from each manufacturer one compares.

duckett ghost rods have great sensitivity and are very light. I don't personally own one, but I have used my buddies on multiple occasions.
I was at the Bass Masters Classic and they had Duckett rods at buy one get two free. Some people were buying them by the arm load.
