In the past week I went out 3 times and just wanted to give a few reports.
Cedar Creek- Lake was crowded and most people were fighting over bank runners or panfishing, but we were looking for a big bass. We spent 6 hours on the lake and had 2 bites with no fish.
Went to Beaver Lake to check on bluegill and crappie bite. We were catching plenty of big bluegill until we ran out of curly tail grubs in the magic color (sorry I just can't remember that color Fish were in 4-6 fow and wanted a slow moving bait. We were outfishing live bait with our grubs and driving people crazy.
Finally ran out to Wilgreen Lake for a couple hours. once we found a place out of the wind I started catching crappie on every tree we got near. Most were in 2-4 fow and were taken with a Charlie Brewer crappie slider in various colors.
Get out and fish! Tight lines.
