I've got a fishing trip planned at Dale Hollow Nov 1 - Nov 10.

I have fished Dale in late December, January, April, May, etc. I kind of know how to approach it during those times, but November seems like it might be a puzzle.

I'm guessing the water temperature should be 60-65. Hopefully, this should all be pre-turnover. I would think even if the lake would have an early turnover, it would more likely start way up at the top of the lake.

Is there still deep grass at that time of year? Or has it all died off by November?

Do you think the game plan of fishing creek mouths and long main lake points will apply for that time of year?

I'm also thinking if we get any significant rain, it would still move the action back into the creeks, like it would in the warmer months.

Also, for any of you who troll, I am hoping the rainbows there are still catchable in the main channel from say First Island down?

Any thoughts or suggestions?
