Not sure about Neldhal but here at Mcalpine the algea bloom is happening big time. I would think without a lot more rain your going to find the same there. Wish I had better news. Good luck.

Was wondering if anyone knew the condition of the river around Augusta Ky. If the algae bloom is still there? I've done some searching and haven't found anything on the algae. I can get river levels and water temps. but that's all I can come up with. I know its the time of year a lot of individuals are into hunting so there are less reports on river and lake activates. Hoping for the fall bite to start before its to cold for this old man to get out. Thanks in advance for any info. Tight Lines
P.S. Like largemouth bass, but not opposed to fishing any species.

Thanks for the reply. I would also assume that its the same above Meldhal Dam. Anxious to get on the river, its been the worst season for bass fishing that I can remember. To much rain early in the season then the high temps and now the algae bloom. Sure hope it gets better before it gets to cold for this old man to get out, may be a long winter. Tight Lines
