    Hum/Brd Helix 9 wave pt

When I try an create a wave point
    I hit Mark
Hold it down till I get a screen reading
Saying Successful followed by a number

I don’t get a pen on the map showing the position

I have 106 established wave points. Do I need to delete some?

    Thanks

Rick ... Your Helix 9 has a 2500 waypoint capacity, so I doubt your 106 established waypoints is the problem.

Read this and see if you are following the sequence correctly : https://www.manualslib.com/manual/10....html?page=112

Man, I just tap the mark, don't hold it down or anything......boom way point.

If I want a different name, I export them later, and rename on my computer and re import.

I set the unit back to factory settings
    WP are working as should

But several features changed. Which I’ll slowly figure back out.
Now I need to get my lake map to change back to a size I want
    Now it’s the entire lake

Shouldn't you just have to use the +/- buttons to zoom in/out when your map is on screen ?? I'm not sure about an HB, but I think wherever you last left the map size will be where it stays ... and will be the same when you turn the unit on next time. Putting the settings back to factory specs probably set the map setting to a way zoomed out position .... maybe ??
