I was there Saturday bass fishing.
Water was 1.5 feet over summer pool.

Does anyone know the condition of Rough River lake right now? Any crappie being caught? I would like to take the boat, but the only decent spot I know of is the Fox Clifty (clifty creek) area. Is the water up high enough to launch a boat there and fish? Any suggestions are appreciated!

I use this page to check water levels. I was there Sunday and the lake was just barely over summer pool. It looks like it’s just under that right now.
Water temps were in the high 40’s to low 50’s and clarity was barely to heavily stained.

Thank you so much for the information! I am bookmarking that page now! Did you fish Sunday, and did you catch any? I haven't been crappie fishing in a few years, so I'm eager to give it a go.I use this page to check water levels. I was there Sunday and the lake was just barely over summer pool. Thank you very much! I’m getting excited about my first fishing trip of the season, even though I’m not much of a crappie fisherman, and I know full well I’m probably going to struggle to even boat a fish. It will be a good time regardless.I use the Lake Levels link and this one : https://www.lrl-wc.usace.army.mil/reports/lkreport.html
